I am Ekaterina, a founder of MindCare, a Psychotherapist and a Qigong Teacher.
Five years ago I moved to Dublin from Moscow, and this has brought significant changes into my life.
In September 2019 I discovered the book “Shaolin: You don’t have to fight to win” by Bernhard Moestl. The rapid pace of life and constant global changes make most of us live on the fight-or-flight response, when we are reacting to stress or some difficult situation emotionally, willing to fight and protect ourselves. Non-fighting means which I learnt in this book became a big revelation for me, and it was where I discovered tai chi and qigong. My own wellbeing journey began to evolve and grow.
Later in the global pandemic outbreak I devoted my time to studying and practicing mindfulness, yoga, tai chi and qigong. At that time I was also working as a Writer and Journalist for an Irish business journal, and I started focusing more on the topics of our daily wellbeing. I completed several Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction courses, deepening my knowledge and practice of self-awareness and focus on the present.
During the Covid outbreak I came to a decision to launch my own Wellbeing business and share my knowledge and findings with people. I felt confident that it was the right time. It was the time for a significant change in my life.
MindCare was born in February 2021 as a comprehensive Wellbeing platform. At the same time I started studying Logotherapy and enrolled to a Qi Gong Teacher training course in Ireland. I was willing to deepen my knowledge to be an Expert in what I am doing.
In summer 2022 I started giving Therapy sessions and Qigong classes online and in person in Dublin.
My work is unique, because I am integrating psychotherapy – Viktor Frankl’s Logotherapy and gentle meditative practices like breathing techniques and Qi Gong in my practice. Also, I am a Poet, and my poetry has a healing transformational effect, bringing peace and love into the heart. I include poetic therapy in my work.
I will help you discover your journey toward a meaningful, peaceful and fulfilled life, in harmony with yourself.
