There can be something healing, delicate and fulfilling in poetry.

Today we are meeting at our Wellbeing poetic workshop to share our favourite poems with each other, share inspiration, warmth and positive emotions.

We will be reading and citing poems, talking, smiling, laughing and being together for some time. In the end we will be doing a short breathing meditation.

Therapists a lot more often use poetry as a form of guidance for people to help see the world, the situation, themselves from a different perspective. Poems can be an invaluable source of peace and harmony, helping relief stress and ease tension.

I started writing poems a year ago and for me poetry is a lot more than my own self-expression – it is as an invaluable source of connection with other people.

In my poems I am conveying an idea of the inner change. What we see in this world is our own perception, and “if you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”.
