Finding your inner peace

Finding Your Inner Peace

I remember Christmas time, December 2020. There was a poetic competition at work and I decided to participate.

It was my first experience writing poetry in English, some time earlier I was a member of a poetic society and was writing poems in Russian.

This time my poem for the competition was called ‘When you Feel’. It is about our feelings in different moments of life, when we are happy and in peace or when we feel lost, might be in despair looking for support. When we feel that we are willing to speak up, express ourselves and cannot stay silent anymore.

Positive feedback and appreciation from my colleagues was incredibly valuable and at that time I felt as if it was a beginning of something new, something very important. And it was.

Since that time I have got inspiration to write poems.

I am creating the poems as a form of therapy for healing, bringing peace and harmony into the heart. As a source of self-discovery, exploration and personal growth.

Poetry is a lot more than your own self-expression. It is as an invaluable source of connection with other people.

In my poems I am conveying the idea of the inner change. What we see in this world is our own perception, and “if you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”.

Sometimes it is enough to change the angle, and the whole situation, even the whole life starts changing for the better. It happened to me and since that time I believe in the personal transformation through our own life perception and vision.

My poems have a hidden meaning behind and my readers find something special and close for themselves, something that resonates with them and seems familiar in some way.

Poetry can help look at the situation from a different angle showing a new perspective, and this can be truly transformational. It is bringing a new perception, a new vision and in some situations significant life changes.

In January 2021 I wrote a poem called ‘Love yourself’ and it turned out to bring a big change into my future life.

In this poem I expressed the value of loving and accepting yourself the way you are.

Each of us is unique and wonderful in their own way and instead of thinking “What if I am not good enough”, we are learning to simply be ourselves letting go any judgements and doubts.

I have discovered how important it is to find your own inner peace loving yourself for who you are, without judging yourself and simply loving and caring.

We are perfect in our own imperfections, it is what makes us real, natural, what makes us human.

This realisation has inspired me to start developing my Wellbeing platform MindCare and ‘Love Yourself’ has become the tagline for MindCare.

‘Love Yourself’ has a hidden meaning behind – through your own self-discovery, acceptance, love and care to yourself we are bringing a lot more to the outer world. And this is precious..

This was when my new life journey has begun.

Since that time I have been learning, sharing and creating..

Creating a space of love, care and support for the people around me.
